| DAVID
ANDERSON
Founder
and Managing Partner
|
| As
Managing Director and Relationship Manager, David's focus is to
expand our client services base throughout the US, as well as
to develop new partners in the principal investment, venture capital,
and enterprise markets. He brings over 15 years of experience
in corporate strategy, sales and business development in the technology
and banking industries. From helping companies traverse the waters
of incubation, capital procurement, and additional hurdles, David
shapes companies so they can exceed their expectations. David
brings a unique orientation to the client relationship. He has
experience as a financing source and conduit to the capital markets;
as well, he possesses the perspective as a founder of two companies.
Most recently he co-founded Zap, a multi-sponsorship and commerce
marketplace. David's banking experience began in 1991 in Chicago
at a boutique debt management firm, and continued through his
tenure at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith where he served
as Relationship Manager within the middle markets space. His background
in banking proved to be a tremendous asset in the technology sector.
David's experience at developing long-standing client relationships
and capturing new market segments for technology companies spanned
eight years. During that period, he was Vice President of US Operations
for a global technology services company where he was responsible
for all functional and strategic direction. Previously, he was
Director of Technology Sales at Confer where he developed and
launched this new market platform which eventually helped lead
to the successful acquisition of the company. Prior to that, he
spent his early years in the technology sector at Oracle Corporation
as a Senior Account Executive. David holds a degree in Communications
from the University of Arizona. |
ANURAG
CHANDRA

| Anurag
is Managing Director at Lighthouse Capital, a prominent Bay Area
venture capital firm. Anurag joined Lighthouse in early 2001 from
Intraspect Software, which was acquired by Vignette (NASDAQ: VIGN),
where he served as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development.
Prior to Intraspect, he was the Vice President of Finance and
Operations at netDialog, where he played an instrumental role
in its acquisition by Kana Communications (NASDAQ:KANA). Anurag
was also a Vice President at Imperial Bank in its Emerging Growth
and Venture Divisions. His other professional experiences include
obtaining financing for technology and infrastructure projects
internationally, managing investments at a large multinational
institutional money manager, and practicing corporate law for
Bryan Cave, LLP. Anurag's area of investment focus is in enterprise
computing, emcompassing software and enterprise networking. While
at Lighthouse, Anurag has sponsored the firm's investments in
Airespace, Azul, Ironport, Cortina, LinkedIn, Six Apart, Modulus
Video, Stoke, and Transparency Software. Anurag holds a B.A. from
Stanford University in economics and political science, and a
J.D. from Loyola Law School. |
ORA
WILLIAMSON
Managing Partner |
| An
experienced and highly successful business development professional,
Ora Williamson has spent her career developing key channel and
technology partner relationships that are critical to success
in the high-tech communications industry. Ora is Founder and President
of Foray Systems, an independent consulting firm focused on providing
investment and business development services to small to medium
sized companies in the technology and medical markets. Foray Systems
was founded in December 2005. Prior to forming her own company,
Ora spent the last 8 years assisting founders with company startups.
Most recently, Ora built the framework for Concentris Systems,
a mesh networking company, based in Honolulu, HI. From 2002 to
2005, Ora worked with the founders of Ascentry Technologies, another
mesh networking company as Senior Vice President for Business
Development and Marketing. Before making an entrée into
wireless, Ora was a known leader in speech recognition technology.
As a founding partner of Conversay Corporation, from 1997 through
2001 helped the founder build the company from a garage-based
operation, to a 230 employee enterprise, with offices across the
US and Europe. Prior to joining Conversay, she spent almost 10
years at IBM, half of that time in the IBM speech group, pioneering
application and tools development for the IBM VoiceType speech
product line, then later acting as IBM’s corporate evangelist
for IBM Speech. Ora was part of the original IBM consulting team
and was responsible for building out IBM’s consulting practice
in Tokyo, Japan. Ora received a BS in Computer Science from the
University of Maryland, with a minor in French. She holds one
patent, four invention disclosures, and two inventions published
related to speech recognition technology. She is based in Denver,
CO. |
ROB
CHASE
Managing Partner |
Rob
has over 16 years of experience in the Healthcare/Medical Device
field and has held positions in sales, marketing and management
at fortune 500 companies including Allergan optical and most recently
Ethicon Endo Surgery, a Johnson and Johnson Company. While at Ethicon
Endo Surgery, Rob was responsible for West Coast sales and developing
regional marketing strategies to drive adoption of new minimally
invasive surgical procedures. His experience in working for large
corporations as well as early stage companies gives him a unique
perspective in helping our clients meet their goals.
In 2001, Rob joined Acueity Inc., an early stage medical device
company focused on early breast cancer detection. As Director of
Sales, Rob set up and managed an independent distributor sales organization
in addition to being responsible for all marketing activities. In
2002, Rob continued his work in the start-up medical device area
working with Computermotion where he was Vice President responsible
for adoption of Computermotions robotics technology into the surgical
marketplace. In 2003, Rob was recruited to become GM at Power Medical
Interventions, a medical device company focused on robotic surgical
stapling. Over the past three years, Rob has been instrumental in
the growth and adoption of Power Medical's technology in the clinical
marketplace. Rob holds a BA degree in Business/Psychology from the
University of the Pacific as well as an MBA in Strategic Leadership
from Dominican University of California. |

MARTENS

Jib
Martens is the Chief Operating Officer of Reinsurance Advisory
Services. Mr. Martens merged his existing company, Beacon Partners,
with RAS in 2004 to strengthen service to the healthcare industry.
Mr. Martens is an entrepreneur with over twenty years of operational,
business development, strategic planning and financial experience,
primarily in the healthcare industry. He has successfully launched,
operated and financed new ventures and repositioned established
companies. Mr. Martens founded and managed an e-learning company
and a financial advisory services company. He has advised large
and small healthcare and financial organizations in strategy,
operations and finance and assisted small to midsized companies
in raising capital. Mr. Martens founded Beacon Partners in 2000
to provide strategic and financial advisory services, fundraising
and interim CFO services to healthcare clients. During that time
he also founded QuickCompliance, a leading provider of e-learning
services to the healthcare industry. Prior to Beacon Partners,
Mr. Martens was the VP of Business Development and then the VP
of Professional Services for Confer, a leading provider of disease
management solutions. Prior to Confer, Mr. Martens was an Associate
Partner in Accenture's Strategic Services Healthcare Practice
and, earlier, a Commercial Banking Officer at Chemical Bank (now
JPMorgan Chase). Mr. Martens holds an MBA from the Ames Tuck School
of Business at Dartmouth College where he was an Edward Tuck Scholar
and holds a BA in economics with a concentration in physics from
Middlebury College where he graduated cum laude. |
