The complete insurance product solution for commerical business

Commercial Coverage Overview
A single insurance policy that combines several coverages previously sold separately. Most Commercial Package Policies include general liability, property, auto and a multitude of other extensions of coverage related to these three main coverage lines. These well-rounded policies are the cornerstone of any company's insurance and risk management program.
General Property and Liability
Property insurance is first party coverage for damage to or loss of your business property and your legal liability for damages caused to other people's property. Property policies include coverage for a broad range of perils that can cause damage to your business personal property and result in loss of income.
Technology Errors and Omissions
Technology Errors and Omissions protects the insured technology company against claims for FINANCIAL damages by third parties.
Directors and Officers
Technology D&O covers the individual liability of a Director and/or Officer of a corporation or a private company. It is purchased because most other liability policies exclude coverage for the individual board member, director and/or officers.
Employment Practice Liability
Employment Practice Liability Insurance policies protect employers from employee suits brought against employers for wrongful termination, discrimination, or sexual harassment.
Fiduciary Liability Insurance
Under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) fiduciaries are personally liable for losses to a benefit plan incurred by reason of a breach of their duties.
Crime
Coverage for claims related to the actual destruction, disappearance, wrongful abstraction or computer theft of money and securities and other property. This includes employee theft/forgery, employee benefit plan dishonesty, robbery, safe burglary, transit, computer and funds transfer fraud and depositors’ forgery coverage.
Worker's Compensation
Workers compensation laws were put into effect to provide workers with guaranteed benefits for job-related injuries and occupational diseases.
International Coverage
International Insurance is needed by companies that conduct business overseas. This includes importers and exporters. To qualify, you must be a U.S. commercial business selling, traveling or consulting overseas.
Key Person Life
Key Person Life Insurance protects the business against financial losses that may occur when a Key Person dies and when normal operations may be temporarily disrupted.
Privacy and Identity Theft Protection & Resolution

On average, identity theft victims will spend $1,500 in out-of-pocket expenses and an average of 175 hours in efforts to resolve the many problems caused by this crime. Federal Trade Commission: When Bad Things Happen to Your Good Name, September 2002.

Help your employees take steps to protect their personal and financial well being with this exceptional product. Generally other identity theft plans will provide coverage for a specific credit card or bank account. We help your employee with all issues related to identity theft. Other plans will provide assistance, tell your employee how to handle certain issues, and provide them with forms, but we will actually do most of the work it will take to restore your employee’s identity if it is stolen:

  • Credit Reports
  • Continuous Credit Monitoring
  • Identity Restoration

Affirmative Defense Response System™

According to the FTC, Identity Theft is on the rise and is now America’s #1 crime and the fastest growing crime. “People whose identities have been stolen can spend months or years – and thousands of dollars cleaning up the mess the thieves have made of their good name and credit record.” - Federal Trade Commission

Current estimates by the Federal Trade Commission indicate that there may be as may as 10 million victims of identity theft each year. FTC studies estimate that victims of identity theft spend $5 billion to undo its harm, while businesses lose nearly $50 billion in revenue annually. Identity theft is a serious crime – its impact on consumers and businesses is staggering.

There is no way to prevent identity theft, but there is a way to protect and vastly limit your liabilities whether you are an employee, management, or owner with our Identity Theft and Legal Shield Protection products and Affirmative Defense Response System (ADRS) which is designed to help educate on legislation such as FACTA, GLB, and State specific laws that affect your business, and implement compliance procedures to abide by these laws and minimize the risks associated with each legislation.

With the creation of FACTA (Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act), the responsibility may be placed on you, the business owner. If any data regarding your customers, employees or vendors is stolen, lost, mishandled or misplaced, you may find yourself facing legal issues or fines or both.

Betsy Broder, Assistant Director of the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Privacy and Identity Protection states, “We need to see that you’ve taken reasonable steps to protect your customer’s information…and will act against the companies that don’t…” “All businesses should look to the law for guidance on how to protect consumer data. ” Stolen Lives, ABA Journal, March 2006

87% of Business owners are not aware of FACTA and the associated laws and have not implemented the policies within their business practices. “If you experience a security breach, 20% of your affected customer base will no longer do business with you, 40% will consider ending the relationship, and 5% will be hiring lawyers!” CIO Magazine, The Coming Pandemic, Michael Freidenberg, May 15th, 2006

Front page USA Today headlines recently featured a May 15, 2006 headline from Michael Friedenberg, President & CEO of CIO Magazine, “The Coming Pandemic – No, not bird flu, Identity Theft”. The editorial continues, “David McIntyre, CEO of TriWest, reported that 53 million identities have been stolen to date and 19,000 more are stolen every day. When it comes to cleaning up this mess, companies on average spend 1,600 work hours per incident at a cost of $40,000 to $92,000 per victim.”

Capital Risk Advisors invites you to learn more about FACTA, identity theft in the workplace, and how to mitigate your liability with the Affirmative Defense Response System (ADRS) and the Identity Theft Shield as an employee benefit.
